【白色緞帶】

白色緞帶（2009）由奧國導演Michael Haneke掌鏡。Haneke善於拍攝黑白片，以反抗美式電影將觀眾視同白癡、全然單向灌輸的風格。一如白色緞帶，他希望觀眾得以主動投入劇情建構，由觀眾自己對該懸疑案件抽絲剝繭，或至少希望事實陳述能有多元的面向；不是只有導演的觀點，而能有些空間讓觀眾參與。
Haneke表示：本片的主旨在於呈現恐怖主義的淵源，尤其是它在宗教或政治上的特質（”the origin of every type of terrorism, be it of political or religious nature” )。影評家Julia Evers則認為：這部片子很寫實，呈現觀眾或村民都無所逃於天地之間的威權、階層化權力結構和暴力的網絡中，這也是為什麼看這部片子格外令人難受的原因 ( "an oppressive and impressive moral painting, in which neither the audience nor the people in the village find an escape and a valve from the web of authority, hierarchy and violence. [...] Everything in The White Ribbon is true. And that is why it is so difficult to bear." )。
一言以蔽之，恐怖主義的淵源，主要是因為我們的社會網絡本身就由暴力崇拜所打造。劇中虛擬村（Protestant village of Eichwald in Germany）的領袖有四：醫生、牧師、管家和伯爵，分別掌握村中身體健康、精神、日常庶務和政治上的大權。
